Job Description
- Advise individuals, families, business owners, and other clients on sophisticated estate planning matters.
- Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Assist with trust administration, probate, estate administration, and related matters.
- Analyze client goals and develop practical, tax-efficient estate planning strategies.
- Work collaboratively with attorneys and professionals across complementary practice areas.
- Communicate directly with clients and help guide them through complex estate planning and administration issues.
- Conduct legal research and provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented counsel.
- Manage multiple matters while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, responsiveness, and client service.
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Bar license required.
- 1+ year of trusts and estates, estate planning, probate, or closely related experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and client-service abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters effectively.
- Collaborative, professional approach with a genuine interest in developing a long-term trusts and estates practice.
