TSA Hilo - Custodian

Seeking a full-service custodian that can perform basic janitorial duties. Duties included trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning the kitchenette, training rooms, hallways, and individual offices. Other duties include high dusting, changing out of light bulbs, quarterly stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning and shampooing.

Physical requirements include but are not limited to the ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs., pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, standing, and ability to walk up and down stairwells as needed.

• Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience.
• Ability to operate basic machinery (vacuum).
• Familiar with cleaning public areas and using various cleaning products desired.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-months janitorial experience.
• Candidate must complete a background check with favorable results.
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug test with favorable results.
• Candidates must obtain and maintain security clearance.
