THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
As a Financial Crime Team Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Financial Crime Analysts. You will provide high-quality guidance on a range of tasks, using your own judgement and interpretation as required whilst keeping the customer experience at the heart of decisions.
You will make a difference in your role by contributing to the development and achievement of business plans, providing insightful information, and understanding the personal impact on the customer journey and how the role supports the TSB strategy.
You will also be responsible in supporting the training of new analysts or analysts who are learning a new workstream, as well as delivering refresher and ad hoc training to all analysts during a time of change and integration.

The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Strong financial crime expertise and experience in a financial crime function, preferably within a retail banking environment.
- Financial Crime knowledge and experience of Actimize.
- Experience of acting as an escalation point for queries and coaching team members to upskill financial crime knowledge.
- Experience of translating Financial Crime Policies/Standards on a risk based and proportionate basis is preferable.
- Financial Crime qualification is preferable (eg ICA).
- A strong communicator with ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and skills in presenting clear concise information to Senior Managers and Head of Function.
- Great organisational skills, with ability to manage and balance workload with conflicting priorities.
