Job Summary
HP is seeking a Senior Engineering Lead to drive critical engineering initiatives within our Toner Supplies & Solutions (TSS) organization. This role leads complex, cross-functional programs focused on new product introduction (NPI), technology innovation, and strategic engineering execution.
You will play a key role in advancing toner and electrophotography (EP) technologies, enabling product differentiation, strengthening brand protection, and accelerating time-to-market. As a senior technical leader, you will influence engineering strategy, guide program execution, and collaborate closely with global partners, including external development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large, cross-functional engineering programs supporting new product introduction (NPI) across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedules, and product performance goals.
- Drive advancement of toner cartridge and electrophotography (EP) technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance product differentiation and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and innovations into the product roadmap, balancing technical feasibility, cost, and business impact.
- Provide technical leadership for product development and yield performance, including driving improvements in manufacturability and product reliability.
- Manage program tradeoffs across scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring development plans are realistic and aligned with organizational priorities.
- Review engineering designs, simulations, and technical analyses, delivering actionable feedback to improve decision-making and product outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (including OEM/ODM partners) to drive technical alignment, issue resolution, and program success.
- Influence engineering direction and decision-making through deep domain expertise and strong business acumen.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, supporting capability growth, technical excellence, and team effectiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science, or related field) or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in hardware development, supplies engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional engineering programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with toner, electrophotography (EP), or printing technologies
- Strong background in new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management
- Experience working with global teams and external development partners
- Proven ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes and product strategy
