Tube Laser Operator - 2nd shift (Train on 1st shift)
General Job Summary:
In addition to performing laser operation, ensures jobs are set-up to meet MPCD/customer requirements.

- Understands and follows all applicable safety policies and procedures.
- With Manufacturing Supervisor, schedule daily/weekly workload.
- Download part program into machine controller.
- Ability to perform adjustments of the tube laser to remedy slag, burn through, burrs, and un-desirable conditions.
- Utilizes hand instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gage) to perform first piece/blue tag inspections.
- Obtains inspection approval for each job.
- Works with Engineering to resolve problems and production issues.
- Train new Associates on equipment operation, department processes and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic errors with the operation of the tube laser.
- May be required to work/assist Maintenance with issues outside of basic errors/issues.
- Ability to successfully load material and record production in Plex.
