Tuition Loan Collector and Support Administrator
Summary
The Tuition Loan Collector & Support Administrator primary duties include the responsibility of contacting tuition loan borrowers to collect past due balances; follow proper collection policies and behaviors as established by Federal Guidelines both orally and in written communication while maintaining a high level of professionalism. This position also requires supporting the division customer service phone line, when necessary, with an elevated level of customer excellence to school contacts and Education Services clients
Responsibilities
- Follow Federal Guidelines for debt collection.
- Communicate with clients, both orally and written, using proper etiquette and professionalism.
- Note all customer contact and conversations regarding payment arrangements on the banks online collection program.
- Track/report to management and school contacts severe past due accounts and the applicable disposition.
- Follow-up on client’s promise-to-pay commitments.
- Manage incoming and outgoing customer service calls pertaining to questions received by Education services clients.
- Identify/solve customer problems within guidelines of established authority.
- Strive to meet or exceed the performance measurement criteria assigned.
- Demonstrate superior personal and interpersonal behavior, attitude, judgement, communication and initiative with clients and employees to ensure an elevated level of professionalism and promote team spirit.
- Participate and volunteer in community development related activities – i.e., fundraising events (fairs, galas, etc.) that coincide with division and bank related customer base.
- Complete other assigned duties.
