Turbomachinery Construction Manager

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project moving toward commercial operation. As Commissioning Manager you lead the owner's commissioning organization through startup and performance testing of the full turbine fleet. It is the seat that decides when the project is finished.
What you get to do:
- Oversee gas turbine and generator delivery, storage and preservation.
- Monitor machine setting and alignment against vendor tolerances.
- Oversee installation of turbine auxiliaries, lube oil and inlet air systems.
- Monitor lube oil flushing and cleanliness through to acceptance.
- Coordinate OEM field service representatives across the fleet.
- Review work packages early — a packaging flaw repeats on every unit.
What you bring to the role:
- 12+ years installing large gas turbines and generators, at least 5 supervising.
- 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
- Deep familiarity with OEM installation procedures and alignment practice.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent field experience.
Nice to have:
- Multi-unit fleet installation experience.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
