Since 2009, Twelve South has been committed to crafting beautiful, innovative and award-winning Apple accessories. Distributed in over 50 countries worldwide, you’ll find us online and in-store including with the likes of Apple Store, Amazon, Best Buy, and TwelveSouth.com. Our absolute focus is serving Apple enthusiasts who, like us, eagerly await the latest product launches. We’re based in Charleston, South Carolina and we’re made up of a close-knit team of 20 employees. Our compact and agile team designs, produces, and manufactures a growing range of market-leading Apple accessories.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated North America Sales Representative to own a book of North America wholesale and retail accounts and close new retail and distribution partnerships across the U.S. and Canada. This role reports to the VP of Sales, who personally owns Twelve South’s largest accounts and will jump in on those when needed. The ideal candidate is a confident, energetic relationship-builder who can run a sales conversation from first outreach through signed deal. You will receive hands-on coaching from the VP of Sales and work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Own day-to-day management of an assigned portfolio of accounts, including pricing conversations and renewal negotiations directly with buyers.

• Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close new retail and distribution partnerships across the U.S. and Canada.

• Participate in line reviews and RFPs with strategic accounts and coordinate with other departments to meet account requirements.

• Track account-level sales activity and provide input to the sales forecast and SIOP demand-planning process.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional programs within approved guidelines, escalating only the largest accounts to the VP of Sales.

• Support seasonal and promotional calendar execution with retail partners, coordinating with marketing on co-op, display, and launch materials.

• Keep account and deal records current in HubSpot CRM per the Sales Playbook’s tiering and deal management standards.

• Maintain daily sales fundamentals — pipeline updates, account activity logs, and outbound prospecting cadence.

• Coordinate with supply chain and operations on order status, inventory needs, and fulfillment issues for assigned accounts.

• Assist with trade show logistics and buyer meeting preparation, and provide regular activity reports directly to the VP of Sales.

• Develop and close Twelve South’s corporate gifting business — identifying prospects and negotiating bulk order agreements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 3-5 years in sales or business development, with some experience negotiating and closing deals — wholesale, retail, or consumer products a plus.

• Confident communicator who's comfortable asking for the sale, with strong negotiation instincts.

• Comfort learning and maintaining CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) for pipeline and account data.

• Working knowledge of Excel, with comfort in basic reporting and data entry.

• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.

• Willingness to travel for account visits, trade shows, and industry events.

• Eager to learn, coachable, and motivated to grow into a larger sales role.

• A proactive, can-do attitude and comfort working in a lean, fast-moving team environment.

• Has shown initiative in a prior role or internship — chased down an answer, fixed a process, went beyond the job description

• Charleston based is highly preferred.

Skills & Traits:

• Hunter Mentality – Hungry and proactive to find new opportunities and generate revenue

• Confident closer — comfortable asking for the sale and negotiating terms, not just building rapport

• Highly organized — doesn't let details slip through the cracks

• Clear, professional communicator, comfortable on the phone and over email with buyers

• Coachable — takes direction well and applies feedback quickly

• Proactive without needing to be asked twice

• Team player who's energized by a small, close-knit company rather than a large orgIf you're ready to build relationships, close deals, and grow an iconic American brand across North America, apply now and join our team!
