UAT Tester – Banking
Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 6,000 per month
About the role
This role involves conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on business requirements and agreed test scenarios, maintaining complete and accurate UAT documentation and evidence for audit and compliance purposes, and ensuring testing activities align with governance, compliance and operational standards.
Key responsibilities
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) based on business requirements and agreed test scenarios
Share UAT evidence with Project Owners for review and clearance
Maintain complete and accurate UAT documentation and evidence for audit and compliance purposes
Ensure testing activities align with governance, compliance and operational standards
Provide timely testing progress updates and proactively highlight issues, defects and risks
Collaborate closely with Project Owners, Project Managers, IT teams, vendors, PMO and other stakeholders
Participate in discussions with Project Owners, Project Managers, IT teams and vendors to clarify requirements and testing outcomes
Support Business Verification Testing, including validating results from internet banking platforms using production test cards
Assist in defect tracking, retesting and closure of identified issues
About you
Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field
2–4 years of experience in UAT, QA, Business Testing or Software Testing
Good understanding of UAT processes, test scenarios, test evidence and defect management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Able to work closely with business users, IT teams, vendors and project teams
Willing to support testing after office hours, weekends and/or Public Holidays when required
Experience in banking, financial services or digital banking platforms is preferred
Agile / UAT / QA-related certification is an added advantage
