We are seeking an experienced UAV & Geospatial Data Specialist with expertise in UAV data processing, photogrammetry, GIS, and geospatial analysis. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to transform aerial survey data into accurate mapping, inspection, and engineering deliverables for renewable energy and industrial applications.
Job Designation: UAV & Geospatial Data Specialist Key Requirements
- Bachelor s/Master s in Geomatics, Geoinformatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, GIS, Computer Science, or any related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in UAV data processing, photogrammetry, GIS, mapping, or geospatial data analysis.
- Hands-on experience in UAV data processing, photogrammetric workflows, and geospatial data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Pix4Dmapper, Agisoft Metashape, DJI Terra, or equivalent photogrammetry software.
- Hands-on experience in generating Orthomosaics, Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Point Clouds, 3D Models, and other geospatial deliverables.
- Hands-on experience in RTK/PPK data processing, georeferencing, and quality validation of survey datasets.
- Experience in GIS data analysis, spatial data management, 2D/3D mapping, terrain modelling, feature extraction, and map preparation.
- Experience in processing and analyzing RGB, Thermal, and LiDAR datasets for inspection and mapping applications.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation, inspection reports, mapping deliverables, and geospatial datasets.
- Knowledge of UAV piloting, flight planning, and data acquisition for photogrammetric and mapping applications is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of renewable energy inspection workflows, transmission line inspections, and industrial asset mapping is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Process UAV-acquired imagery and geospatial datasets using industry-standard photogrammetry software.
- Generate Orthomosaics, Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Terrain Models (DTM), Point Clouds, and 3D Models from UAV-acquired data.
- Perform RTK/PPK data processing, georeferencing, and coordinate system management to ensure spatial accuracy.
- Analyze RGB, Thermal, and LiDAR datasets for renewable energy, industrial assets, and infrastructure applications.
- Perform GIS analysis, spatial data management, feature extraction, and map preparation for engineering applications.
- Prepare inspection reports, mapping deliverables, technical documentation, and client-ready outputs.
- Collaborate with drone operations, engineering, and inspection teams to optimize data acquisition and processing workflows.
- Support the continuous improvement of UAV data processing methodologies, automation workflows, and geospatial best practices.
