Want to build a career in orthopedic device sales? As an Upper Extremity Support Specialist, you’ll support our field sales team in growing our upper extremity business, developing new accounts, and serving surgeons and clinical teams across your territory.

From shoulder arthroplasty to elbow, wrist, and hand procedures, upper extremity is one of the fastest-growing segments in orthopedics, with more cases moving into ambulatory surgery centers every year. This entry-level or early-career role puts you in the OR early, giving you hands-on experience with procedures, products, and territory management, and a clear path toward a career as an upper extremity sales representative.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Sales and field representatives with daily activities, including case coverage, customer outreach, and implant and instrument logistics
• Provide in-OR support for upper extremity procedures, including anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty, fracture fixation, and elbow, wrist, and hand cases
• Support sales calls, product demonstrations, and evaluations in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinical settings
• Build strong relationships with orthopedic and hand surgeons, OR staff, sterile processing teams, and supply chain partners
• Manage instrument sets, loaners, and consignment inventory so the right products are complete, sterile, and ready for every case
• Work with Operations and Customer Service to coordinate product availability, replenishment, and order fulfillment
• Track case activity, pipeline progress, and key metrics using CRM and internal reporting tools
• Complete product and procedural training on upper extremity anatomy, surgical techniques, and our portfolio, including any preoperative planning or enabling technologies
• Support surgeon education events, bioskills labs, and new product launches
• Follow all company policies, regulatory requirements, and hospital credentialing standards
