UI Automated Test Designer (SQL, Jira, Agile) - 12 months contract #NJH

KeyResponsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for frontend and backend systems

• Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, end-to-end)

• Perform API testing andvalidate backend business logic and data integrity

• Test UI functionality,responsiveness, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility

• Identify, document, andtrack bugs through to resolution

• Collaborate withdevelopers and product managers to define acceptance criteria

• Participate in codereviews and sprint planning from a quality perspective

• Perform regression,performance, and load testing as needed

• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and test coverage

RequiredSkills & Qualifications

• 3+ years of experiencein QA/software testing for full stack applications

• Experience withautomated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, or similar)

• Solid understanding ofAPI testing tools (Postman, REST-assured, or similar)

• Familiarity withfrontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend concepts (APIs, databases)

• Experience with bugtracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)

• Understanding of CI/CDpipelines and integrating automated tests

• Strong analytical,problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

• Good written and verbalcommunication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6)

• Basic scripting/programming skills (JavaScript, Python)

• Familiarity with SQL forbackend/database validation

• Experience working in Agile /Scrum environments

Hours: 9am to 5pm / Mon-Fri
Salary: Up to $6500
