UI Developer - React.js

Role Overview :

JRD Systems is seeking an experienced UI Developer with strong React.js expertise and hands-on AWS experience to build modern, responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications. The role involves close collaboration with product, design, backend, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop responsive, dynamic user interfaces using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

- Build and maintain reusable component libraries with React functional components, Hooks, and state management tools such as Redux or Zustand.

- Translate Figma or Zeplin designs into pixel-accurate interfaces using CSS, Sass, or Styled Components.

- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, including backend services hosted on AWS; manage asynchronous data flows.

- Deploy and maintain frontend applications using AWS Amplify, Amazon CloudFront, and Amazon S3 static hosting.

- Optimize performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.

- Integrate authentication and identity solutions such as Okta and OAuth 2.0; apply secure frontend development practices.

- Implement frontend monitoring, logging, and observability using AWS services.

- Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and collaborative delivery.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and modern UI development skills.

- Hands-on experience with AWS frontend hosting and deployment services (Amplify, S3, CloudFront).

- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management (Redux, Zustand, or equivalent).

- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Axios, Fetch, SWR, and asynchronous data handling.

- Familiarity with frontend build and quality tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and ESLint.

- Knowledge of responsive design, web accessibility, browser compatibility, performance, and web security.

- Experience with Git, frontend CI/CD pipelines, debugging, and maintainable coding practices.

Education & Experience :

- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong focus on React.js.

- 3+ years of experience building or deploying applications on AWS.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, a related discipline, or completion of a recognized development certification program.
