Role: UI Developer with Angular/React
Location: Changi Business Park or Marina Boulevard Financial Centre
Contract: 6 months
Core focus: Frontend development using Angular and/or React
Technical Skills (Required):
Proficiency in JavaScript (including ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework, with strong preference for Angular and React.
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., RxJS for Angular, Redux for React) is beneficial.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and the ability to work with design systems (e.g., DBS Digital Design Standard).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Karma, Jasmine for Angular; Jest, React Testing Library for React) is a plus.
Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, npm scripts) and package managers (npm, Yarn).
Understanding of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure frontend applications using Angular and/or React frameworks.
Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring optimal performance and user experience across different devices and browsers.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate design mockups and wireframes into high-quality code.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
Develop reusable UI components and libraries to promote consistency and accelerate development cycles.
Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement and adhere to secure coding best practices, addressing potential vulnerabilities like XSS and CSRF.
Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices.
Contribute to code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural standards.
