As a hands-on UI Engineer, you will design and develop features for Ribbon Communications’ next-generation application user interface. The Advanced Technology development team uses Angular, Kubernetes, Docker, Hadoop, and micro-services architecture. You will work with contemporary UI frameworks and Big Data platform engines, while pursuing software development in a self-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype and design new user interface feature content
- Deliver UI features using appropriate industry standard technologies
- Debug, fix, and improve the current user interface
- Design high-quality, well-architected, supportable software
- Support continuous improvement by questioning existing approaches
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic demonstrated through academic achievement
- Motivation toward a career in software development
- Experience or aptitude toward contemporary user interface design
- Experience with Angular, React, Node, or related frameworks beneficial
- HTML5, CSS3, SASS, or REST experience beneficial
