At Innovaccer, our team is obsessive in its detailing and our focus is on solving big problems by delivering awesome user experience. We are seeking a passionate Lead for UI Engineering, with 6-7 years of experience in building highly scalable frameworks and interfaces for web.
Background
• 6-7 years of experience in building highly scalable UI on the web
• Strong computer engineering background, and experience building ingenious products.
Role
You’ll be leading the efforts on frontend and application side of our products. A major part of your time will go in translating designs and user flows to technology and ensure that we are creating an amazing user experience. This will involve mentoring the teams on approach, execution and technology. The other part of your work will be to ensure that the product builds are of the highest quality, schedule deployments and build automation scripts.
Responsibilities
• Mentor on approach and execution of solutions, coach on technologies and establishing a team wide comprehension of solution capabilities and direction
• Roll up your sleeves and code when necessary
• Drive coding standards, deployment automation and code documentation
• Drive thought-leadership on engineering and architectural practices and standards
• Translate designs and style guides provided by the designers into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
• Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or use of new technologies
Skills
• Kick-ass expertise in Frontend Development
• Decent level of expertise in Backend and Devops
• Familiarity with latest design principles, user interface, and interaction practices
• Crazy about write good, clean, and semantically correct markup
• Solid intuition and passion for details
• Practically have an OCD for shipping a good user experience
• Desire and ability to think like the end user
• Ability to work in a team, communicate well, stick to deadlines and ship
• Self-directed team player who is motivated by a continually changing environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Should actually enjoy building products rather do so just to get a paycheck.
