Role Overview

We are looking for a UX / Product Designer with approximately 3 years of hands-on experience who can contribute across the end-to-end design lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in user-centered design, can translate requirements into intuitive user experiences, and is comfortable collaborating with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.

This role is well-suited for a designer who has moved beyond academic concepts and has shipped real products or features.

Key Responsibilities

UX & Product Design

• Translate business requirements and user needs into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs
• Design intuitive, scalable experiences for web and/or mobile applications
• Contribute to feature-level and product-level UX decisions
• Apply UX principles, accessibility standards, and usability best practices

Research & Validation

• Participate in user research activities (interviews, usability testing, surveys)
• Synthesize insights into actionable design recommendations
• Validate design solutions through testing and iteration

UI & Design Systems

• Create and maintain UI components aligned with design systems
• Ensure consistency across screens and platforms
• Collaborate on design system documentation and updates

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Support developers with handoffs, specifications, and clarifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Background

• 3+ years of professional experience in UX, UI, or Product Design
• Experience working on live digital products (web or mobile)

Design Skills

• Strong understanding of UX fundamentals (IA, interaction design, usability)
• Good visual design skills (layout, typography, color, spacing)
• Ability to think in flows and systems, not just screens

Tools

• Proficiency in Figma (mandatory)
• Familiarity with design handoff workflows

Soft Skills

• Clear communication and articulation of design rationale
• Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly
• Structured thinking and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, BFSI, SaaS, or consumer products along with enterprise design system work
• Exposure to Agile / Scrum environments
• Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates must share a portfolio demonstrating:

• End-to-end design thinking
• Clear problem statements and rationale
• UX process, not just final UI screens
