UI/UX Designer - AI Apps

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with experience designing AI-powered applications to create intuitive, modern, and user-centric experiences for next-generation AI products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UX research, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and design systems, along with a good understanding of how users interact with AI-driven applications.

You will work closely with Product Managers, AI/ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, engaging, and usable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and user-friendly experiences for AI-powered web and mobile applications.
  
• Conduct user research, interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and behaviors.
  
• Create user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  
• Design conversational and AI-driven experiences, including chat interfaces, AI assistants, copilots, recommendations, and intelligent workflows.
  
• Develop intuitive interaction patterns for AI features such as prompting, AI-generated responses, feedback, regeneration, editing, citations, confidence indicators, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
  
• Translate complex AI/ML concepts into simple and understandable user experiences.
  
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and effectively implemented.
  
• Create and maintain design systems, reusable components, UI patterns, and design guidelines.
  
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback and product analytics.
  
• Ensure applications follow responsive design, accessibility, usability, and visual consistency standards.
  
• Work closely with developers during implementation and provide design specifications, assets, and interaction details.
  
• Stay current with emerging AI UX/UI trends, generative AI interfaces, conversational UX, and human-AI interaction patterns.
  

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, with experience designing digital applications.
  
• Hands-on experience with Figma and modern UI/UX design tools.
  
• Strong understanding of UX research, user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
  
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and high-fidelity designs.
  
• Experience designing AI-powered applications, chatbots, copilots, GenAI applications, or conversational interfaces.
  
• Understanding of LLM/GenAI user experiences, including prompt-based interactions and AI-generated content.
  
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first design principles.
  
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
  
• Good understanding of accessibility and WCAG principles.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with product and engineering teams.
