UI/UX Designer

to join a collaborative, close-knit design team focused on transforming intricate backend workflows into seamless, intuitive digital experiences. In this role, you will play a central part in shaping the user experience of a core operations platform, as well as supporting web interfaces and internal tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who thrives on solving high-complexity problems in a structured yet innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver polished end-to-end UI/UX experiences for a mission-critical operations platform, web interfaces, and internal tooling
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs align with real user workflows and organisational objectives
  • Explore, prototype, and iterate on innovative design concepts that shape the future of the platform, while actively supporting ongoing feature development
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with internal and external users to validate design decisions and drive continuous iteration
  • Maintain high design quality by performing design reviews and collaborating directly with engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle
  • Analyse platform usage data to surface user pain points and identify opportunities for meaningful, measurable improvements
  • Contribute actively to team meetings, design critiques, and brainstorming sessions to foster a culture of shared growth and learning

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional UI/UX design experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating user journey design across digital platforms
  • Proven ability to distil complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive user flows and clean, functional visual designs
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of UX principles across web, mobile, and touch interfaces, with a user-first and data-informed design mindset
  • Experience with motion design and micro-interactions (is a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present, discuss, and defend design decisions clearly to cross-functional stakeholders
