UI/UX Designer

Job Description

· We are seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to create meaningful, user-centred digital experiences that balance usability, visual quality, accessibility, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

· User Experience & Interface Design Conceptualise and design user-centric digital experiences from initial user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity prototypes.

· Translate complex business and technical requirements into intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly design solutions.

· Develop user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

· Ensure accessibility considerations are incorporated throughout user journeys and digital touchpoints.

· Balance user needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and visual design principles.

· Design Systems & Visual Design Apply, adapt, and contribute to design systems based on project requirements.

· Create reusable UI components and maintain visual consistency across digital products.

· Maintain high standards of visual quality, usability, consistency, and attention to detail.

· Ensure designs are responsive and aligned with modern UI/UX best practices. Research, Testing & Validation Participate in user research, usability testing, and design validation activities.

· Collaborate with UX researchers and stakeholders to gather and interpret user insights.

· Incorporate research findings, usability feedback, and stakeholder input into iterative design improvements.

· Validate design solutions against user needs and business objectives.

· Innovation & Emerging Technologies Explore innovative design approaches and emerging technologies, including AI-driven user experiences.

· Stay current with evolving UX/UI trends, tools, methodologies, and technologies.

· Identify opportunities to improve user experiences through new technologies and design practices.

· Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Facilitate or co-facilitate design workshops with clients, users, and internal stakeholders.

· Clearly communicate design concepts, decisions, and rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Collaborate closely with UX Leads, researchers, designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and developers.

· Work effectively within multidisciplinary and Agile project teams.

· Design Culture & Continuous Improvement Actively seek and incorporate feedback to continuously improve design quality.

· Contribute to internal design initiatives, knowledge sharing, and design communities.

· Share best practices and contribute to improving design processes and ways of working.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· 2–5 years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design.

· Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design thinking, UX processes, and visual design capabilities.

· Strong proficiency in Figma. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools.

· Strong understanding of UX principles, user journeys, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.

· Strong aesthetic sense, design judgement, and attention to detail. Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

· Ability to translate complex requirements into simple and effective user experiences.

· Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver within tight timelines.

· Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and their impact on digital experiences.

· Good to Have Experience in conversational design.

· Experience working with design systems and component libraries.

· Experience conducting usability testing and user research.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

· Understanding of HTML/CSS and modern web development constraints.

· Experience designing AI-enabled or conversational digital experiences.
