UI/UX Engineer
Description
Veracity Digital is an AI-native technology and engineering company helping businesses transform through innovative AI solutions, software engineering and intelligent automation. We build scalable, production ready solutions for global clients, combining engineering excellence with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
We're looking for a passionate UI/UX Engineer to to lead user research and design for an enterprise web application in which expert users capture complex, structured requirements and receive recommendations from rules and agent-driven backend services. Operators, reviewers and administrators will use it to capture, review and govern results.
You will define the information architecture for long multi-step workflows and take it from wireframes to a production-ready high-fidelity design system. The design must work for real users in several countries, handle incomplete information, show where data came from, make human and agent handoff states clear, and respect role-based access.
Key Responsibilities
Experience Design
- Run user research with operators, reviewers and administrators across several countries, including remote sessions during Asia-friendly hours.
- Define the information architecture for complex, multi-section forms and review/approval flows.
- Produce wireframes and high-fidelity designs covering all states (empty, loading, error, partial, conflict, read-only, awaiting agent/system, needs human review) and breakpoints.
- Design patterns for progressive disclosure of large schemas, provenance indicators, draft/resume, human + agent handoff, and role-based views.
Front-End Engineering
- Design with React component models and responsive layouts in mind, and build interactive prototypes, in code (HTML/CSS/React) where useful.
- Hand approved designs to engineering one sprint ahead of build, with clear handoff practice.
- Carry out design QA of the built UI and support the resolution of UAT findings.
Design Systems and Standards
-
Build and maintain a component library and design system (variants, design tokens) in Figma.
-
Work within an established corporate design system or brand theme.
-
Build accessibility (WCAG) into designs from the start, including colour contrast, keyboard navigation, and screen reader support.
-
Document design decisions, patterns, and components for the wider team.
Collaboration and Discovery
- Work closely with the tech lead and engineers so approved designs feed the next engineering sprint.
- Run research and review sessions with client users and present design decisions to internal teams and clients.
Experience and Qualifications
Required
- Typically 2 to 4+ years in UX/UI design for complex enterprise or B2B software, with at least two products shipped to production that you can walk through end-to-end.
- Strong information architecture for complex forms and data-dense, multi-step workflows such as configurators and review/approval chains.
- Design systems experience: component libraries, variants, design tokens and interactive prototypes in Figma, including work within an established corporate design system or brand theme.
- Accessibility (WCAG) practice built into your designs, not bolted on.
- Experience designing multi-role UIs (operator / reviewer / admin) and human + agent handoff states.
- User research with professional or expert users, including remote research across countries.
- A solid working understanding of frontend constraints (React component models, responsive layouts) and clear handoff practice.
- Uses AI agents to accelerate UX research, flow exploration, and design documentation.
- Uses AI agents to scaffold prototypes, component variants, and developer handoff specs.
Preferred
- Experience designing AI-assisted or decision-support tools, including how to present recommendations, confidence and explanations.
- B2B enterprise domain experience.
- Ability to prototype in code (HTML/CSS/React).
What We Offer
- Lead the design of a complex enterprise application that goes all the way to production.
- A collaborative, high-ownership culture with structured sprints and a remote work model with Asia-friendly hours.
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
