Roles & responsibilities ​

We are recruiting for a Manager in the Audit team. Working as a Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:​

Lead a team of graduates and qualified Executives, Seniors and AMs working on audits for the onshore​

Managing international clients and leading the audits​

Act as main point of contact for onshore departments. Build strong relationships with onshore department champions/other key contacts in the onshore.​

Work with the senior management and key onshore contacts to develop business and grow the team​

Make regular contact with onshore to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered​

Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore​

Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews​

Work with L&D team to identify training needs​

Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs​

Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of staff members​

Coach AMs and TLs on performing reviews and developing their staff​

Motivate and develop AMs and TLs to become effective leaders​


This role is for you if you have the below​

Educational qualifications ​

Work experience :​

Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)​

The candidate must have 5+ years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big4 accounting firm​

​Mandatory technical & functional skills​

Credit loss forecasting models in either retail or wholesale domain primarily for IRB models as well as for IFRS9/CECL/CCAR/DFAST reporting including PD/EAD/LGD component models. Validation process involves understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements, development document, testing and benchmarking using SAS, R or Python and report writing. ​

A strong understanding of UK and EBA regulatory environment and regulations related to IRB models. Knowledge of other relevant standards such as IFRS9 is a plus​

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to model risk management including but not limited to SR11-7/SR15-18/CCAR/DFAST/CECL/IFRS9Strong analytical skills. ). ​

Programming skills: SAS (primary, minimum requirement), Python (secondary) and R (tertiary). ​
