We're looking for an experienced Technical & Operation Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in maintaining technical standards, driving operational compliance and supporting continuous improvement across our UK businesses.
This is a unique opportunity to influence how technical pest control services are delivered nationwide while working alongside experienced technical and SHEQ leaders in a business committed to long-term growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, field-based leadership role where you'll work closely with operational teams, technicians and key customer sites across the UK. Reporting to the UK Technical Director, with a dotted line into the Group SHEQ Director, you'll help ensure our technical standards remain industry-leading while supporting innovation, compliance and operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in improving technical performance by:
- Supporting technical standards and operational compliance across the UK
- Conducting technical, quality and compliance audits
- Providing technical support on complex pest control issues
- Coaching technicians and operational managers
- Supporting field trials, innovation and new technologies
- Promoting health, safety and environmental best practice
- Working closely with Operations, Procurement, SHEQ and Leadership teams
- Contributing technical expertise to major customer accounts and tenders
About You
You'll bring:
- At least 5 years' experience within the pest control industry
- Strong technical knowledge across rodents, insects and proofing
- Experience supporting operational or multi-site field teams
- Excellent knowledge of UK pest control legislation and industry best practice
- BPCA/RSPH Level 2 (minimum)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- A practical, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to build credibility and influence colleagues at all levels
Desirable:
- BPCA/RSPH Level 3 or above
- IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
- Audit or technical inspection experience
- Experience trialling new products or technologies
- Interest in innovation and data-led pest management
