About the Role

The Marketing Director of UKIN is in charge of defining the marketing strategy of the RC UKI Brand portfolio with the Maisons as well as building and executing the yearly Brand plans. They are responsible for managing and driving the Marketing and Brand Advocacy teams.

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for establishing the brands strategies / initiatives following Maisons guidelines, market insight, company priorities to grow the business & match ambition.
  • Contributes to the building of the 3-5years plan with Managing Director and Commercial Director.
  • In the context of budget and commercial planning process, is responsible for building and executing the yearly brand plans to be delivered in due time to sales team, by brand, by channel, with customer facing elements when relevant: delivery of guidelines, distribution strategy, assets, NPD launch plans, organization of events,.
  • Manage all A&P budget closely and within agreed budget and ensure strong ROI focus for all activities
  • Together with the Maisons, Commercial Director and Finance director, is responsible for Pricing Strategy of the market covered.
  • In charge of building and managing the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget for all the brands: allocate the right amount and right split per type of expenditure by brand according to strategy.. Delegates the Customer Marketing Budget to sales whilst overviewing it.
  • Upon commercial needs, develops assets & programs tailor made for a channel / customer / brand / region.
  • Is responsible for the media & PR strategy, KPIs, execution and evaluation of the relevant brands with the proper Media / PR /event agencies.
  • Together with the heads of insight HQ and UK, The mkt director commissions, analyses the relevant research to follow the market, trends
  • assess & monitor the performance of RC Brands and of its activations, Ad hoc studies (U&A, price elasticity, Ad & promotion performance..) and recommends relevant action plans.
  • With the Head of Advocacy, is in charge of Brand education at internal (sales), trade, customer, consumer, influencer, media level.
  • As Management Team member, Contributes to the development of the company and its ambitions
What you bring
  • Leadership drive and attitude: client centric and result driven - Management Experience required.
  • Creative, Engaged & passionate: conquering & fighting spirit
  • Structured: team lead, structure and prioritize workload (Management of multiple brands required).
  • Strategic, analytic, data oriented, good financial understanding and commercial acumen.
  • Good experience / knowledge of Media, SN, digital campaign & analysis.
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills verbal and written
  • Premium brand sensitivity
  • Team spirit
  • UK Market experience and strong understanding
  • Consumer centric approach unsing consumer insight and understanding to drive meaningful campaigns and activations to engage brand strategic target consumers and convert to sale
  • Digital savvy, key understanding on how to leverage existing and new social media platforms to drive brand consideration and conversion to sales
  • Good understanding of Ecommerce and strategies to win with key UK bricks and mortar retail eg. Tesco.com as well as pure players e.g Amazo
