Ultrasound Tech- Accredited Ultrasound School or Radiology tech with cross training in Ultrasound
| The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing radiological examinations as required by staff physician’s orders and under the direction of the Radiologist. Performs ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. |
| Position Qualifications |
| Education: |
| * High School Diploma or GED or transcript of their highest level of applicable education |
| * Accredited Ultrasound School or Radiology Tech with RRT with cross training in Ultrasound preferred |
| Experience: |
| * One year of Ultrasound Tech experience in a healthcare environment |
| Licenses/Certificates: |
| * BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date. American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date and renewed by the recommended renewal date thereafter. |
