Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:
- Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
- Monitor security systems and surveillance equipment to identify suspicious activity and potential security risks.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities through detailed and accurate reporting.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and potential threats.
- Conduct routine patrols to maintain the safety and security of the premises.
- Manage access control procedures and verify visitor credentials.
- Evaluate security systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents.
- Protect personnel, visitors, and property by maintaining a secure environment.
Required Qualifications of Security Officers:
- At least 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Previous Retail Security experience preferred
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
