Unarmed Security Officer - San Francisco Bay Area - Flex/On-Call - $30/hr **CA Guard Card Required

We are currently seeking flex and on-call unarmed security professionals to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at a customer site in the San Francisco, CA bay area.

This opportunity is ideal for dependable security professionals seeking supplemental hours and the flexibility to accept available shifts.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Flex / On-Call
Shift Window: 0600-2200
Availability: Coverage may be needed any day of the week, including weekends
License: Active California Guard Card required

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence

• Conduct routine patrols and monitor assigned areas

• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and incidents

• Help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and customers

• Complete clear and accurate incident reports

• Follow site procedures, post orders, and emergency response instructions

• Communicate professionally with site personnel and the security team

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for dependable, observant, and professional individuals who communicate well, follow direction, and respond promptly when coverage opportunities become available.

Previous security, retail loss prevention, military, or relevant customer service experience is preferred.

Candidates must hold an active California Guard Card, be able to reliably commute to San Rafael, and be comfortable standing and walking throughout their assigned shift.

Please include the days you are available and how much notice you typically need to accept a shift. Broad availability is especially helpful.

• Military service OR 1 year of retail loss prevention experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CA Guard Card or willing to get one quickly.
• No more than 3 employers in the last 6 years.
• No employment gaps beyond 6 months.
• Oral Drug Testing.
• Background check screening.
• Good English communication skills.
