Underwriting Assistant (Property & Casualty / General Insurance / $5K + AWS) [ID: 708467]

Responsibilities:

• Attend to inquiries and implement mid-term changes for existing accounts.
• Ensure timely communication with intermediaries regarding new quotations and renewals.
• Pass down accurate instructions to Policy Administration along with necessary documentation.
• Review policies and broking slips for compliance and accuracy.
• Update and maintain records, schedules, and statistics regularly.
• Compile, analyze, and present monthly reports during business reviews to align with intermediary agreements.
• Manage and maintain distribution email by forwarding cases to appropriate parties.
• Collaborate with the policy administration team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of documents to intermediaries.
• Provide support to the Corporate Services team during agency or intermediary events.

Requirements:

• ACII, ANZIIF or a Degree/Diploma in Insurance, or a Degree/Diploma in relevant fields.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in insurance operations or direct engagement with agents and financial advisors.
• Understanding of insurance operations, distribution, underwriting procedures, and policy wordings.
• Basic knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the general insurance industry.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
