This includes reviewing credit verification reports, income documents and underwriting recommendations. The role ensures the delivery of sound credit decisions for all loan applications within the agreed turnaround time.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p></p><ul style="padding-left:2.5rem;"><li>Monitors the daily productivity of assigned underwriter/s for supervision. </li><li>Prepares regular reports on team performance, CAR, TAT and deviation threshold compliance. </li><li>Provides sound recommendations and/or credit decisions on business loans products. </li><li>Trains, mentors, motivates and disciplines subordinates to improve, develop and retain high potential and high-performing employees. </li><li>Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and recommends amendments or enhancements, as necessary. </li></ul><div><br /></div><p></p><p>It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Years of Work Experience</b>: 5 - 10 years</p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b><br /></b></span></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b>Educational Attainment</b>/</span><b>Required course </b><i>(if applicable): </i>Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Finance/Accountancy/Banking</p><p><br /></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b>Required Certification/Professional License (if applicable): </b>N/A</span></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><br /></span></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b>Field of Specialization (if applicable):</b> Banking and Finance, Corporate Finance/Investment, Credit </span></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b><br /></b></span></p><p><span style="white-space:normal;"><b>Knowledge and Skills Requirements: </b></span></p><ul style="padding-left:2.5rem;"><li>Strong leadership and people management skills</li><li>Knowledge in credit and underwriting process </li><li>Financial analysis </li><li>Effective oral & written communication, including presentation skills</li><li>MS Office Application </li></ul>
