Unit Associate I - Per Diem, Evenings 3pm-11pm, Gagnon A Cardiac, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills/customer service.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills.
• Answering call bells and telephones using proper phone etiquette.
• Attending to the functions of the unit, bed assignments, working with the nurses, nursing assistants, and leadership to promote a positive patient experience.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• 1 year in healthcare, preferably an acute care setting
• Prior Unit Associate experience strongly preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communiation skills
