Role Summary
In this role at CelcomDigi, you’ll lead Sales Supervisors and Sales Executives across assigned sales clusters, driving the performance of our Prepaid, Postpaid, and Fibre businesses across Open Channel and Modern Trade. You’ll execute sales initiatives, analyze performance, monitor dealer and retail touchpoints, and drive actions to achieve sales targets.
You’ll also stay ahead of competitor activities, identify opportunities to strengthen market competitiveness, and actively participate in on-ground sales activities. As a key support to dealers and frontliners, you’ll help resolve system and product-related queries while ensuring smooth and effective sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the sales team by coaching, mentoring, and engaging Sales Supervisors and Sales Executives within the assigned area to maximize performance and potential.
- Own the assigned area’s Prepaid and Postpaid business, covering both Open Channel and Modern Trade, with accountability for overall sales performance.
- Plan and execute quarterly tactical sales programs to achieve assigned Prepaid and Postpaid sales targets.
- Analyze sales performance and trends to identify gaps, opportunities, and actionable improvement plans.
- Monitor dealer performance across clusters to ensure alignment with CelcomDigi’s product promotions, channel strategies, and segment programs.
- Track competitor activities and market trends, assess their impact on CelcomDigi, and recommend quick-win actions to maintain competitiveness.
- Maintain healthy cluster and dealer performance, in line with guidelines and direction from the Sales & Distribution team.
- Drive reloads and quality activations to achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities, including greenfield areas, based on consumer density and growth potential.
- Drive Open Channel expansion to strengthen market presence and unlock new sales opportunities.
- Lead and participate in on-ground activities such as events, roadshows, and roving activities to drive sales and customer engagement.
- Support dealers and frontliners by troubleshooting system and product-related queries to ensure smooth sales operations.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in any field
- 8 to 10 years of working experience; experience in the Telco industry would be an added advantage
- Any past experience in Dealer/Distribution/Telco Operations, Marketing/Business Administration in FMCG Industries
- Must Possess Own Transport with Valid Licenses
