The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cybersecurity liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program.
Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions. Administers programs and serves as the primary source of information. Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs. Ensures unit program compliance with regulations, laws, policies, and squadron commander directives. Serves as a unit liaison to the military and civilian personnel offices. Monitors personnel action requests, tracks personnel, manpower, and training transactions and provides status reports to management. Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization. Develops, establishes, updates, and maintains office procedures and records/files of various types to ensure effective and efficient operation of the office.
