About Alfaisal University

Alfaisal University (AU) is a highly ranked and successful university located in the capital city of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 2008 as a private not-for-profit research-oriented university, where English is the official language of instruction. It consists of six colleges: Business, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, and General Sciences.

College of Business (CoB) Programs

College of Business offers:

• BBA degree in Business Administration with nine majors,
• MBA degree with six tracks,
• Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership, and General EMBA,
• Ph.D. in five functional areas of Business, starting August 2027, and
• An active Executive Education & Development program with strong connections to government agencies, businesses, and industry.

CoB subscribes to business databases and provides strong support for research.

Faculty Openings

The college has the following openings at all levels:

• Accounting: Two positions: one in Auditing and one in Cost or Financial Accounting.
• Finance: Up to four positions; one in each of Fintech & Digital Finance, Financial Intermediation, Insurance, and Real Estate.
• Management: Up to five positions; one in Entrepreneurship and Family Business, two in Strategic Management, and two in Organizational Behavior and HRM.
• Marketing: Up to two positions, one in Consumer Behavior - Emerging Technology.
• Operations & Project Management: Up to five positions; one in each of Business Analytics, Applied Statistics, Stochastic Decision Making, and Operations Management & AI.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified candidates, both male and female, are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in the designated field and demonstrate a strong record or potential for high-quality research and teaching. Preference will be given to females and to candidates with a strong research record and potential. Candidates are expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels where class sizes are relatively small.

Application material should include a cover letter indicating area of specialization and research interests, resume, sample of the latest publications, teaching evaluations, and contact information for at least three references. Screening of candidates begins immediately and continues until positions are filled.
