URBAN YOUTH
Provide support to individuals with disabilities in a Vocational Program, Day Habilitation Program, Residential or community-based settings
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide on-the-job training, life skills training and supervision to individuals.
- Responsible for writing reports, including daily logs, utilizing professional, appropriate documentation skills.
- Serve as liaison between RTR and the community representing a positive and proactive attitude at all times.
- Work in cooperation with the Case Manager to implement ISP objectives.
- Communicate all related issues to the designated Case Manager.
- Maintain area in a clean, orderly condition as outlined by Program Manager.
- Provide support in a variety of community activities.
- Serve as an appropriate role model
- Implement all behavior plan interventions as assigned.
- Adhere to all established lines of communication, dress in a professional manner and represent a positive and proactive attitude with coworkers, families and referral agencies.
- Adhere to the schedules and routines of the individuals and the program
- Adhere to the schedules and needs of the Urban Youth Collaborative Program.
- Attend weekly professional development trainings/coaching sessions
- Attend and complete assigned college course at Massasoit Community College if applicable
- Adhere to agency safety standards.
- Perform additional duties, or substitute for others as required.
- Adhere to all RTR policies and procedures.
- Develop and provide all services in accordance with RTR’s philosophies including staff and Board beliefs.
