*URGENT* 6m Locum Optometrist (Northeast, Up $28/hr) #HAC

Working Hours:
- Mon: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Tues: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Wed: 9:00am – 1:00pm
- Thurs: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
- Fri: 9:00am – 4:00pm
- Sat: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Candidates must be able to commit to all or the majority of the above working hours.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct eye examinations and assess patients' ocular health using specialised equipment.
- Provide professional advice and recommend suitable optical solutions.
- Dispense lenses and manage lens inventory.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Support daily clinic operations and ensure quality patient service.
- Assist with insurance verification, claims and billing.
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:
- Fully registered with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
- Prior experience in an optical or healthcare setting preferred.
- Comfortable handling both clinical and Patient Service Officer (PSO) duties, including insurance claims and billing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to commit to all or most of the stated working hours.
