Urgent: Automation Software Engineer (manufacturing)
Summary
Develops, maintains, and troubleshoots software for automated manufacturing equipment in Singapore — translating customer requirements into specifications, writing user guides, and programming with C# while working with PLCs, motion control, and vision systems, including travel to customer sites.
Create and support software for automated equipment, from customer requirements through installation and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation software.
Turn customer needs into clear software specifications.
Prepare user guides for developed programs.
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2–3 years’ automation experience preferred.
PC programming skills; C# experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with PLCs, motion control, and vision systems.
Adaptable team player with a practical, can-do attitude.
Willing to travel and work at customer sites.
