Summary
Automation Software Engineer in Singapore developing and maintaining software for automated manufacturing equipment. Day to day: turning customer requirements into software specs, troubleshooting PLC/motion control/vision systems, writing user guides, and supporting installations at customer sites.
Create and support software for automated equipment, from customer requirements through installation and ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automation software.
- Turn customer needs into clear software specifications.
- Prepare user guides for developed programs.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 2–3 years’ automation experience preferred.
- Familiarity with PLCs, motion control, and vision systems.
- Adaptable team player with a practical, can-do attitude.
- Willing to travel and work at customer sites.
