*URGENT* Chemical Engineer (Medical Device MNC) #HRY
Job Scope:
- Monitor and support day-to-day production processes to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot production and process issues and work with relevant teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor process parameters and production performance to ensure products meet required quality specifications.
- Develop, review, and improve production processes, SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation, productivity improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction.
- Support process validation, qualification, and engineering change activities.
- Analyse production data and investigate process deviations, defects, and quality issues.
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Support the installation, commissioning, calibration, and maintenance of production equipment where required.
- Ensure production activities comply with applicable safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement, automation, and manufacturing engineering projects.
- Support new product introduction and process transfer activities where applicable.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate engineering and production documentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to improve process safety and reliability.
- Participate in internal and external audits and provide technical support when required.
- Perform other production engineering and ad-hoc duties assigned by management.
