Bambini Montessori Academy is urgently seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Mandarin Teacher! We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can introduce children ages 2–5 to Mandarin language and Chinese culture through creative, fun, and interactive learning experiences.

POSITION DETAILS

• Position: Part-Time Mandarin Teacher

• Pay: $25 per hour

• Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week

• Age Group: Children ages 2–5

• Locations: Must be willing to travel between our preschool locations as needed

• Work Setting: Montessori Preschool

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE CLASSROOM

Make Mandarin exciting, memorable, and fun for little learners!

• Teach Mandarin with Creativity: Introduce basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills through engaging, age-appropriate lessons.

• Make Language Learning Fun: Use songs, storytelling, games, movement, and hands-on activities to capture children's interest.

• Celebrate Chinese Culture: Introduce children to Chinese traditions, stories, music, and cultural experiences.

• Build Young Learners' Confidence: Encourage children to participate, communicate, and explore a new language in a supportive environment.

• Collaborate with Teachers: Work alongside classroom educators to complement the Montessori curriculum and support children's development.

• Create Meaningful Experiences: Make every lesson an opportunity for discovery, creativity, and joyful learning.

QUALIFICATIONS — WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• Previous Mandarin teaching experience is required.

• Fluency in Mandarin is required; native or near-native proficiency preferred.

• Genuine passion for teaching and working with young children.

• Ability to create fun, interactive, and age-appropriate language lessons.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between preschool locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children, especially ages 2–5.

• Montessori teaching or classroom experience is a plus, but not required.
