Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Maintenance: As a Senior Server Systems Engineer, you will design, deploy, and maintain robust enterprise server infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.
Identity & Directory Management: Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and core identity services with precision.
Cloud & Virtualization: Oversee enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix) alongside cloud environments (Azure/AWS) as our primary Senior Server Systems Engineer.
Modernization Projects: Drive high-profile server migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud integration initiatives.
Monitoring & Incident Response: Lead monitoring, performance tuning, and root cause log analysis across server hardware, datacenter platforms, and storage networks (SAN/NAS).
Security & Compliance: Implement endpoint protection, server hardening, MFA, RBAC, and vulnerability remediation to meet strict compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI).
Automation: Standardize builds and minimize operational downtime by writing efficient PowerShell and Bash scripts.
About You
Proven track record in an enterprise Senior Server Systems Engineer or Lead Systems Engineer role (10–15+ years of hands-on experience).
Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration.
Mastery of Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS).
Demonstrated experience handling Backup, Disaster Recovery (DR), and identity security best practices.
Strong leadership, advanced troubleshooting skills, and flexible availability for shifting schedules (including weekend/holiday coverage).
