URGENT HIRING: SOC / Security Engineer (MSP) – Night Shift
Summary
Night-shift SOC/Security Engineer on a dedicated offshore seat for a North American MSP: triaging and responding to incidents, hardening identity and endpoints with the Microsoft stack (Defender, Entra ID, Sentinel), managing vulnerabilities, and producing ISO 27001/NIST compliance evidence across multiple client environments.
Salary: ₱65,000 – ₱75,000 per month
About the role
We’re hiring a Security Engineer for a dedicated offshore seat with a North American managed services provider. You’ll own security operations across multiple client environments: triaging and responding to incidents, hardening identity and endpoints, managing vulnerabilities, and producing the compliance and audit evidence clients rely on. This is a hands-on seat for someone who can investigate an alert at 9pm and write the risk register entry for it the next morning.
Requirements
5+ years in security operations, with at least 2 years in an MSP or MSSP supporting multiple clients
Incident triage and response: phishing and email security investigations, account compromise, endpoint containment and remediation
Hands-on Microsoft security stack: Defender, Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA, identity protection) and Microsoft Sentinel or a comparable SIEM
EDR/MDR, DNS and web filtering, and firewall log review in a production environment
Vulnerability management: scanning, prioritisation and tracking remediation to closure
Compliance and audit delivery against ISO/IEC 27001, NIST CSF or similar: control mapping, policy writing, risk registers and evidence packs
Security hardening and backup security posture reviews
Clear written English; you’ll write client-facing findings and reports
Security+, SC-200, CySA+ or equivalent is a plus; VAPT experience is a plus
