Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Java Developer.

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Software Developer. In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable backend services using modern Java and Spring Boot technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high‑quality RESTful APIs and ensure production stability while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain existing back end and full stack applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and related frameworks

• Apply object-oriented analysis and design principles to build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions

• Design, implement, and support microservices architectures and RESTful APIs

• Work with data persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate, PL/SQL, and relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Deploy, operate, and support applications in AWS cloud environments, leveraging cloud native capabilities

• Participate actively in Agile delivery, collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders in a global team

• Contribute across the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle, with hands on responsibility for troubleshooting, production support, and root cause analysis.

• Participate in discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Apply engineering best practices when delivering solutions.

• Involvement in applying test driven development (TDD) to improve reliability and design (Nice to Have / Desirable Responsibilities)

• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable automated build, test, and deployment processes (Nice to Have / Desirable Responsibilities)

• Develop familiarity with AI prompting and tooling (e.g. Claude) to assist with analysis, development tasks, and problem solving (Nice to Have / Desirable Responsibilities)

• Work with Unix / Linux environments, gaining experience in command line usage and basic troubleshooting (Nice to Have / Desirable Responsibilities)

• Contribute to Angular based UI/UX improvements and frontend modernization initiatives (Nice to Have / Desirable Responsibilities)

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• Backend: Java 17, Spring Boot 3.5.5, Gradle

• Database: PostgreSQL

• Security: JWT Authentication

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS EKS (Kubernetes), Helm Charts, AWS ALB Ingress Controller, AWS S3, Amazon ECR

• Testing: JUnit 5, Mockito

• CI/CD & Security Scanning: Github

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

• Database: Relational Databases (SQL), Hibernate/JPA, Hibernate Envers, Flyway

• Workflow & Messaging: Temporal SDK, Solace JMS, Transactional Outbox Pattern

• Security: LDAP Integration, CyberArk

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Other cloud providers, Kubernetes

• Testing: Understanding of Unit Testing concepts

• CI/CD & Security Scanning: Bamboo, BlackDuck (Open Source Vulnerability Scanning), Fortify (Static Application Security Testing - SAST), Artifactory

• Ability to navigate through vague specifications and requirements and coordinate and engage relevant stakeholders to obtain clarity on expectations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Fast learner, critical thinker and able to work under time pressure
