Summary

On-site engineer troubleshoots and maintains automated manufacturing equipment to prevent defects and downtime, optimizes production flows, and supports new product rollouts in a factory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform immediate on-site troubleshooting and maintenance for automated machinery to prevent production defects and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and foreign factory teams to resolve persistent technical issues, providing remote support as needed per established guidelines.
  • Set up and optimize production flows, ensuring machinery consistently achieves targeted Units Per Hour (UPH) and cycle time standards.
  • Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by facilitating the smooth, defect-free implementation of automated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with automated equipment setups, cycle time optimization, and compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to operate independently.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multi-disciplinary teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
