US Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US accounting principles, particularly US GAAP, and experience in managing accounts related to real estate. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. - Manage the accounting for US property accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Oversee the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. - Utilize accounting software such as Yardi and Netsuit for financial management and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls. - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance. - Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance. Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of US accounting principles and practices. - Proficiency in US GAAP. - Experience with real estate accounting. - Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Yardi and Netsuit. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
