US Healthcare Recruiter (Full-Time, Remote)
Description
About Us
Home Heart Florida is a US pediatric home health agency. Our nurses care for medically complex children in their own homes, so the families we serve can keep their kids out of the hospital. We are a small, high-trust team hiring directly, with no agencies.
The Role
You will recruit registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) in Florida for children who are waiting for care. You will call and screen new applicants the same day they apply, book interviews, follow up with anyone who goes quiet, keep every candidate up to date in our applicant system, and work closely with our HR Director and our scheduling team so that every open case gets the right nurse as quickly as possible.
What You'll Do
- Call and screen new nurse applicants every day, usually within hours of them applying
- Book interviews and chase no-shows until they are re-booked or closed out
- Keep every candidate in the right stage in Greenhouse, with a clear next step
- Reach out to nurses who have not applied yet and convince them to talk to us
- Run reference checks and hand hired nurses over to onboarding
- Track your own numbers every week and work to improve them
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years as a recruiter, personally running screening calls and moving candidates to a hire
- Clear, confident spoken and written English, and comfort on the phone all day
- Proven ability to keep 50 or more active candidates moving at once without anyone falling through the cracks
- Persistence and warmth: you follow up until you get an answer, and nurses enjoy talking to you
Preferred (not required):
- Recruiting for US nurses or other healthcare roles
- Home health or pediatric recruiting
- Experience with Greenhouse, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Bullhorn or a similar system
- Spanish
Technical Requirements
- Reliable computer and stable internet of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
- Backup power or internet, or another plan for outages
- A quiet, professional place to take calls
Compensation & Setup
- Full-time, long-term role, direct hire (no agency)
- Training provided
- Compensation: $1,200 USD/month
- Working hours: 8 AM to 5 PM US Eastern (Miami time), which is 9 PM to 6 AM Manila time (8 PM to 5 AM until US clocks change on 11/1/26), Monday to Friday
