What you'll do: Deliver 1:1 online trial lessons, understand each child's needs, recommend the right Kodland program, and help families make a confident enrollment decision.
Schedule: 20–25 hrs/week on average, mostly weekday afternoons/evenings + daytime weekends (US hours)
Pay: Fixed rate per completed trial + performance bonuses — clear, transparent structure
Support: Live onboarding, guided practice, and a short assessment before you start with real families
If this sounds like your kind of role, here's the full picture 👇
1. About Kodland 👨💻👩💻
Kodland is an international online school helping kids aged 8–17 build real digital skills — Python, Roblox, Minecraft, Digital Creativity, and more. We work with students and families across the US, Europe, the UK, CIS, Latin America, MENA, and beyond, all through live 1:1 or small-group Zoom classes with a project-based approach.
Our mission: help kids become confident, curious thinkers who are comfortable with technology and problem-solving.

2. A Day in the Life of a TCM 🎬
Curious what this actually looks like day to day? This short video shows a typical TCM schedule, how a real trial lesson unfolds, and what the conversation with parents feels like.
👉 Watch it before applying — it's the fastest way to know if this role fits your lifestyle.
3. What You'll Actually Be Doing 🎧
Each trial lesson, you'll:
Meet the child and at least one parent on Zoom
Build rapport and ask the right questions to understand the child's background, interests, and goals
Lead a short hands-on activity (simple coding, game logic, or digital task) using ready-made materials
Recommend the best-fit program based on what you observe
Answer questions, address concerns, and guide the family to a clear decision
This role blends three skill sets:
🎓 Teaching — explaining clearly and keeping kids engaged
🗣 Communication — listening well and adapting to each family
💼 Sales — showing value and confidently closing when it's a good fit
This isn't a scripted call-center job. You'll get structure and materials, but you're expected to think on your feet and lead the conversation.
4. Schedule & Availability 🕒
Weekdays: mainly 14:00–21:00 CDT
Weekends: mainly 11:00–18:00 CDT
5 days/week, with 1 weekday off + 1 weekend day off
Exact hours are negotiable, but we need consistent weekly availability so we can plan ahead and keep families from waiting.
We ask you to honor the slots you commit to — but we're human about it. Life happens; just give us a heads-up so we can adjust smoothly.
5. Pay & Earning Potential 💶
Independent contractor role, paid twice a month, built on two parts:
Base pay: $8 per completed trial (up to $9.50 based on your grade)
Bonus: 5–10% of your monthly sales — the better your conversion rate, the higher your %
📌 Admin hours are paid at the same rate as trial classes.
What that looks like in real numbers (based on internal averages, part-time):
🌱 New to the role: ~$700/month
📈 Steady performers: $1,200+/month
🏆 Top performers: up to $2,200/month
You'll get regular feedback, coaching, and webinars to help you grow — income increases with skill, consistency, and effort, but it's a real, achievable path even part-time.
