We are looking to welcome a (Part-time) Ultrasound Technologist to our dynamic team - the Ultrasound Technologist will play a critical role in patient care, performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians, and ensuring patients' comfort. This position requires a commitment to patient comfort and safety and maintaining high quality and compliance standards in imaging practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures on patients, including preparing them for exams, positioning them appropriately, selecting the correct imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality.
  • Data Management: Enter and monitor patient data accurately within the EMR system.
  • Equipment Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to departmental management.
  • Patient and Staff Safety: Always ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Additional Duties: Perform tasks or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or department director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer.
  • Certifications: ARDMS certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Experience:

  • Sonography: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Required)
