The Data Analyst II team at Walmart Data Ventures ensures data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. Collaborating with Data Stewards, Product Managers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists, the team governs and manages data to support strategic business objectives. Utilizing expertise in data governance, analytics, and visualization, members deliver actionable insights that drive informed decision-making. The team emphasizes continuous improvement and employs advanced tools and methodologies to maintain high data quality standards, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to effectively supporting business needs and enhancing overall data management practices.
What you'll do:
- Analyze complex data sets to support business decision-making across multiple domains including product, finance, marketing, and technology.
- Identify and source appropriate data from various databases and distributed data stores, ensuring data quality and relevance.
- Develop and apply analytical models and visualization techniques using tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- Support process improvements and project activities by delivering accurate data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
- Promote data quality management through profiling, cleansing, and validation activities under guidance.
- Mentor junior team members on analytical methods and data visualization best practices.
What you'll bring:
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze and present complex data effectively.
- Experience with data quality management, including profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure accurate and reliable datasets.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
