The Manager, Data Analytics - Sourcing Solutions / GM leverages data-driven insights & research to support strategic category recommendations and leads execution of competitive Sourcing events. This role supports complex data analysis projects, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights that drive informed decision-making in a cross-functional environment. The position also promotes continuous improvement and exemplifies company policies and ethical standards to support Sourcing's mission to be Walmart's Most Trusted and Resilient Supplier.
About the team:
The Sourcing Solutions team within Central Operations leads strategic sourcing and process enhancements for Walmart Private Brands across various markets. The team delivers actionable insights by leveraging data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and compliance reporting to address complex business challenges. Members drive cross-functional initiatives, develop tailored reporting solutions, and continuously refine strategies to support informed decision-making and operational excellence. Their efforts directly contribute to Walmart’s mission of serving customers worldwide with efficiency and integrity, fostering resilience and value through innovative approaches and strong partnership engagement.
What you'll do:
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, and Merchandising to support Sourcing and Procurement strategies by executing bid events, e‑auctions, cost change analyses, and related analytics
  • Deliver complex, high‑visibility analytics projects that support strategic decision‑making and align to key business priorities
  • Develop and present executive‑ready insights and visual storytelling that drive action and accountability
  • Identify data trends, risks, and opportunities through advanced analysis, communicating recommendations to different stakeholder groups using modern data visualization tools (Power Bi, AI-enabled dashboards)
  • Manage multiple projects across categories, ensuring delivery within scope, quality, & timelines while driving continuous improvement and efficiency
  • Share learnings across team to strengthen analytical and storytelling capabilities

What you'll bring:
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; 2+ years experience translating data into actionable intelligence.
  • Strong executive communication and influencing skills, with the ability to drive outcomes through collaboration, partnership, and stakeholder alignment
  • Data and tech savvy, experience in Coupa CSO with AI/ML knowledge in business context and experience pulling, manipulating, and interpreting complex datasets
  • Master's degree in engineering, statistics, computational science, or related quantitative field.
  • Progressive experience in management consulting, Sourcing & Procurement, supply chain, or business strategy.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
