User Experience Designer
Summary
User Experience Designer responsible for conducting user research, mapping user journeys, creating wireframes and prototypes in Figma, planning usability tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design digital experiences for government clients.

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $82,600 to $162,800.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

As a User Experience Designer on the Customer Strategy & Design team, you will be responsible for...
- Conducting user research to identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points related to Integrated Eligibility Systems
- Mapping user journeys and structuring content to create clear, logical user flows across digital experiences
- Creating wireframes and prototypes in Figma to communicate design concepts and support iterative product development
- Planning and executing usability tests, analyzing findings, and incorporating insights into design recommendations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting design approaches, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of experience supporting Integrated Eligibility programs, systems, or platforms
- 2+ years of experience conducting user research and usability testing
- 2+ years of experience creating wireframes and prototypes using Figma
- 2+ years of experience developing user flows, journey maps, or information architecture deliverables
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting government or public sector digital transformation initiatives
- Experience collaborating with product, technology, and business stakeholders across the design lifecycle
- Experience presenting design concepts, research findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Experience with user-centered design methods for complex service or platform environments
